Our CommunitiesAES is a multidisciplinary department that provides students with a foundation in race and ethnic studies and opportunities to work with local communities. Our academic philosophy is grounded in social justice values and practices that seek to eliminate systemic racism and inequalities. We offer a major with four areas of concentration and a Diversity Minor.
