Biography
Originally from White Center, Reuben Deleon is a scholar of both Ethnic Studies and Higher Education. A proud double Husky, Reuben graduated with a Bachelors in American Ethnic Studies, Sociology, and minored in Diversity in 2010. He completed his Masters of Education at the University of Washington College of Education: Educational Leadership and Policy Studies: Higher Education Program in 2012, and has earned a MA at UCLAs School of Education and Information Studies: Higher Education and Organizational Change program and a concentration in the Asian American Studies Department. He is also an affiliate of the Bulosan Center for Filipino Studies at The University of California, Davis. His primary research interests are on the experiences of students of color in extracurricular activities, student organizations, and burnout.
